Shri Krupa Dance Foundation is a San Jose based non-profit 501(c)(3) organization committed to preserving and promoting the rich cultural heritage of India. We teach, perform and present, the Indian classical dance form of Bharatanatyam, in and around the Bay Area. We empower the ethnicity of the Bay Area community through our artistic interpretations and innovative contributions in the field of dance, music and drama.

As the very first school for Bharatanatyam established in the Bay Area, Shri Krupa Dance Foundation has the distinction of bringing out some of the area's finest exponents of this classical art form. A committed group of artists along with the renowned teacher, dancer and choreographer Ms. Vishal Ramani have been engaged tirelessly in this noble pursuit for the past 25 years. Shri Krupa has produced innumerable full-length ballets for audiences in the United States and India and has successfully collaborated with several multi-thematic artists of other cultures around the world. Shri Krupa is one of the five groups in residence at City of San Jose's Multicultural Arts incubation program and is also the first dance company in residence at the San Jose Repertory Theatre.
